ROLLER SKATING
Let the Good Times Roll
Strap on your skates and hit the ground rolling. Skatin’ Place is home to one of the finest and most versatile indoor roller-skating rinks in all of Central Minnesota. With nearly 12,500 square feet of skating surface, a dedicated DJ, and many fun floor games, families and individual skaters are sure to find something to love.
Our indoor skating rink supports a range of skating types, including traditional roller skating, rollerblading, inline skating, and more. Skaters are encouraged to bring their own skates, but we have inline and roller rentals available at the first desk.
Tons of Fun and Games
Our skating rink regularly holds all kinds of fun floor games, including limbo, the YMCA dance, and Ghostbusters!
Rock Out with Your Favorite Music
Our DJ plays the hottest tracks around, including country, pop, rock, and more!
Fun for the Whole Family
Our skating rink is the perfect place for anyone who loves skating—whether you’re looking for a fun night out with the family or organizing a company retreat!
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available. One-hour lessons are $60 rentals included. $30 for each additional student during the same time. Contact us today to schedule a private lesson!
Public Lessons
We offer public roller-skating lessons for beginner skaters or those looking to hone their skills in the rink. During a lesson, skating instructors cover a variety of fundamentals, including how to keep balance, turn safely, and regulate speed.
Our public lessons are held around four times a year and scheduled in blocks of four sessions each, with each lesson being held on a different Sunday. Each Session is one hour long and costs $25. Skaters can choose to book all four lessons in advance (and get one session free) or purchase individual lessons at the door.
How it Works
At Skatin’ Place, we don’t charge for individual skating time. Instead, we have multi-hour sessions that you can join at any time. During open skate sessions, access to the rink costs between $7.99 and $9.99*, depending on the day and session time. Our rental desk has traditional skates that fit any toddlers’ feet all the way to adult size 16, and inline skates ranging from child size to an adult size 17.
All our private party packages include time in the rink. Check out our Parties for more information.
